My Name is Kjell Ingemarsson. I was born on an island called Frösön up in the cold northen
Sweden 45 years ago. I stayed all through the school years in this small town. I did some higher school and started working as a
construction engineer. I didn't like the cold up in the north that much so as soon a could I left Sweden for warmer places. It
all started when my older brother, who was working in Saudi Arabia, came home one spring day and told me there was a job waiting
for me if I wanted it! Of course I wanted to get out in the big world! I took the job in Saudi and after that there was no going
back to Sweden again. At least for any longer periods. I went from Saudi to Indonesia and for a very long period I stayed in
various places in India.

The best time I had was in Central Java, Indonesia! Where I met Bert for the first time,
by the way! We where building a hydro power plant there and where living in a very nice expat camp. It was really here I become
interested in Motorcycles and Harley Davidson particularly. In the camp I think everyone had a classic motorbike. It was
everything from vintage Matchless, Norton, Triumph, AJS and a few more but mostly there was Harleys in the camp. I remember it
was like 30 to 40 bikes or more in the camp during the peak years! I bought my first HD in 86' I think it was. It was a 1960
Sportster which I later sold on to another Swedish guy over there. After that I got hold of a army colored 48' 1200cc side valve,
with a side car. I also got hold of an almost original Panhead 48' which was the best of them all! This bike still remains with
the family.
Anyway I took the lot (except the Sportster) include also a Willys jeep in a container and
sent it back home. This was when I thought I was going to stay in Sweden again. I didn't last long at home; I got fed up rather
quickly and went abroad again. So I never really got a chance to ride my bikes in Sweden. I really regretted that and longing for
a time in life when I could drive in a nice and warm climate, somewhere in the world.
During my years in India I met my wife Namfon. I was working all around that big country
and I took my wife with me to many places. We got our daughter Ann Marie in 2000 and spend the last of the years in India with my
family up in New Delhi. Namfon's son Man came up and joined us and went to school there as well. We started to like India a bit
better. Then it was time to move again!
We bought a house in 97' in Pattaya and are still living there. We just upgraded to a
bigger house and are quite happy living in Thailand.
My latest bike, the Road King was arranged with the help of Bert. I really love that bike
and like to tour with the Nagas. Anyway! Now I am here in Thailand and enjoying life with a good job and riding my bike in a nice
and warm climate.
Can life get any better?
